Research on TM and Cardiovascular Disease
A symposium highlighting research on the effects of the Transcendental Meditation technique on cardiovascular disease, entitled “Integrative Cardiology,” was held during the annual meeting of the American College of Cardiology, which was attended by 30,000 cardiologists in Atlanta from March 11 to 14, 2006. Speakers at the TM symposium included:

Brian Olshansky, M.D., Professor of Cardiology at the University of Iowa and co-chair of the symposium

O.T. Randal, M.D., Professor of Cardiology at Howard University in Washington
